Bulletin 2020-090 California Wildfires (DR-4558-CA) – Glass Fire in Napa and Sonoma

Update to California Wildfires (DR-4558-CA)

FEMA Declared Disaster in California

 

Effective immediately, NewRez is pausing the purchase of loans in certain zip codes in Napa and Sonoma Counties. A new fire called the Glass Fire is impacting these counties that were previously included in the FEMA declaration, California Wildfires (DR-4558-CA), dated August 22, 2020. This declaration has an incident date of August 14, 2020. No incident end date has been declared at this time.

 

Please note that this announcement overrides those previous announcements regarding DR-4558 as it pertains to Napa and Sonoma Counties.

 

Zip Codes Ineligible for Purchase

 

Effective immediately, NewRez is pausing the purchase of loans in certain zip codes in Napa County and Sonoma County, which have been identified and designated for Individual Assistance from FEMA.

 

The following table lists the zip codes currently ineligible for purchase for Conventional, FHA, VA and USDA loans.

Napa County: 94508, 94515, 94558, 94567, 94574 and 94576

Sonoma County: 95404, 95405, 95409 and 95452

The following zip codes will remain eligible, and will require either an inspection or appraisal, or Borrower’s Attestation or Veteran’s Certification as noted below. Refer to Chapter 15, Disaster Policy, for full details.
