Kansas Appraised Value Determination

NewRez LLC "NewRez" Approved Correspondent Clients: please note that an appraised valuation determination is required in Kansas for primary residences, per Kansas regulations. Where an appraisal is not obtained, NewRez will accept a property valuation determined by one of the following three (3) methods:

  • Most recent tax assessment value by county;
  • 2055 Drive-by Appraisal Report; or
  • NewRez approved AVM (CoreLogic, Freddie Mac HVE, Black Knight Collateral Analytics)

If LTV exceeds 100% based on the valuation, a Kansas High Loan-to-Value Notice must be provided to borrower not less than three (3) days prior to closing and a copy must be retained in file. A free copy of appraisal valuation must be provided to borrower, if applicable.
